Our Location

Our property is located in the heart of Diani Beach, yet in a quiet location. The Baharini Plaza shopping center is just a short walk away (approximately 400 meters), and the stunning white, award-winning sandy beach is only a 650 meters walk.

The approximately 48 km drive to/from Mombasa Airport usually takes about an hour. Since the bypass was built, the ferry is no longer needed, making travel much easier.

Our resort is located near the small Diani Airport, from which domestic flights to Nairobi and flying safaris depart.

How to find us

Coming from Mombasa or Nairobi, take the main road towards Tanzania (Lunga Lunga) until you reach Ukunda. Once there, turn left towards Diani Beach (this is the only intersection in Ukunda, so no further directions are necessary).

Continue on the road to Diani Beach until it ends (you’ll see the Carrefour supermarket on your right). Turn right there. After another 2 km, you’ll pass the Baharini Plaza shopping center. Keep it on your right and continue along the beach road for another 200 meters. You’ll then see our “Safina Cottages” sign on your right. Turn into the small access road. After driving approximately 200 meters in the shade of the flamboyant trees, turn right again at the end of the road. After about 70 meters, you’ll have arrived (the property is on the left)—welcome—karibu sana.

Coming from Ukunda Airstrip, drive approximately 700 meters until the access road bends to the right. Follow this bend and continue straight ahead for about 1 kilometer until you are directly in front of our property.
