Our location

OUR LOCATION

Our compound is located in the heart of Diani Beach and yet in an absolutely quiet area. In only a few minutes walking distance you can reach the Baharini Plaza shopping centre after a good 400 metres and we are only about 650 metres away from the gorgeous white sandy beach which has won several awards.

Our property is located not far from the small Ukunda Airstrip, from which domestic flights to Nairobi or fly-in safaris depart.

HOW TO FIND US

Coming from Mombasa, take the main road towards Tanzania (Lunga Lunga) to Ukunda. Once there, turn left towards Diani Beach (this is the only crossroads in Ukunda, so a more detailed description is not necessary).

Please follow the road to Diani Beach until its end (Ocean Supermarket is on the right hand side). Here you turn right. After another 2 km you will pass the Baharini Plaza shopping centre. Leave it on the right and follow the beach road for another 200 meters. Now you will see our sign “Safina Cottages” on the right. Turn here into the small access road. After driving about 200 meters in the shade of the Flamboyant trees, turn right again at the end of the road. After about 70 meters you have reached us (facility on the left side) – welcome – karibu sana.

Coming from Ukunda Airstrip you drive about 700 meters until the access road makes a bend to the right. Please follow this bend to the right and drive straight on for about 1 km until you are directly in front of our property.

Note: We will gladly organize the transfer from the airport in Mombasa or the Airstrip in Ukunda (at extra charge).
